Alan Connell scored twice as Grimsby came from behind to secure their first home win of the season against Histon.Lee Wootton fired the visitors ahead after seizing on a mistake by Bradley Wood, before home keeper Steve Croudson kept out an Omer Riza shot.

Connell levelled from the penalty spot after Oluwafemi Ilesanmi was ruled to have brought down Lewis Gobern.

And, after twice going close, he volleyed in a late winner from Lee Peacock's inviting left-wing cross.
